Texas Whisky n’ Wine Sangria

Add a little Texas kick to your sangria with some Texas Crown Whisky! This make ahead recipe is great for serving large groups at your next party.
Ingredients
  • 1 bottle of Spanish red wine
  • ½ cup of Texas Crown Whisky
  • 1 ½ cups of orange juice
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 2 apples, sliced
  • 2 pears, sliced
  • 3 oranges, sliced. Extra for garnish
Add 1 bottle red wine, ½ cup whisky, and 1½ cups of orange juice to a drink dispenser or pitcher. You can top off with more wine, whisky, or orange juice to taste. Add ¼ cup sugar to the drink dispenser and stir. Cut your fruit into slices and add to the pitcher or drink dispenser. Place the pitcher or dispenser in the fridge and let sit for at least 2 hours, or if you have more time for up to 4 to 8 hours. Sangria tastes best after you let the flavors of the fruit and alcohol sit for several hours in the fridge. This helps mix all the flavors for a delicious fruity taste! Once ready, serve into glasses, garnish with extra fruit, and enjoy!
